Comments, exceptions and qualifications According to Spoor & Fisher All new applications should now be filed at the centralised registry in Casablanca, and separate registration in Tangier is no longer required. A Moroccan (Casablanca) registration obtained under the former legislation will automatically extend to the entire country, as will an existing Tangier registration. Consequently, in the case where a proprietor possesses duplicate old law registrations in both Morocco (Casablanca) and Tangier, it will only be necessary to maintain one of the registrations, and the other may be abandoned at the proprietor’s discretion.
